Tom Crossmon formed Crossmon Consulting in 2008 with the goal of helping families by performing difficult drowning victim recovery. Tom brings his 30 plus years of experience as a member of the St. Louis County Rescue Squad based out of St. Louis County, Minnesota. Dave Phillips also has 30 plus years of law enforcement experience with the St. Louis County, Minnesota, Sheriff’s Office. Together, they offer immense technical expertise in Side Scan Sonar and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) operation and training.

During early development, in addition to search and recovery, and light salvage, demand grew from public safety agencies to learn more on utilizing sonar and ROV equipment for drowning victim recovery. This resulted in the development of various training seminar programs.
Crossmon Consulting offers training seminars worldwide on side scan sonar and ROV usage for equipment dating from earlier models up to the most technologically advanced. Often times historical images are found, image captured, and documented ranging from train wrecks to shipwrecks, to be utilized by historical societies throughout the U.S. and Canada. With every case and project, Crossmon Consulting continues to progress its expert services for search and recovery, salvage, and training.
